Top Questions for Landscape Design and Outdoor Living in Colorado Springs
Do you charge for your designs/estimates?
We do. We spend a lot of time with our thorough landscape process, so there are very few surprises (usually none) when we start your landscape installation.
Do you offer designs for DIYers?
We do not. Our bread and butter comes from installing landscapes so we focus on those clients that need installations as well. We do have a person we refer to that just does designs so you can still give us a call.
Typically, how booked out are you?
That depends on the season but we are routinely booked out a minimum of 2 months for landscape installs and 3 weeks for designs.
I am building a new home, when should I start the design process?
We recommend starting the process as soon as possible after the walls are up and the property grading is close to final. That way we can get there closer to your closing date and you don’t have to live with a dirt yard for long.
Can I phase in my landscaping?
You sure can! We can create a master plan to work off of and guide you toward what should be installed first so we don’t tear up phase 1 when we do phase 2 and so on.
When is the best time to plant?
Typically, spring and fall are the best times to plant, although we do plant throughout the growing season. We can also plant trees during the winter with great success.
Do you offer maintenance services?
How much should I plan to spend?
Are you properly insured?
Do I need approval from my HOA?
When should I blow out my sprinkler system? Do you offer that service?
Can I run my water feature through the winter?
Is the gas line the builder installed safe to hook up to a fire pit?
